Problem Sets – Using Critical Points

Find critical points for:

1) y = 3x² + 4x – 7

2) y = x³ – ln x

3) y = x – sin x (0 < x < 2∏)

4) y = x⁵ – 5x⁴ + 5x³ - 1

Try to graph them too. I didn't do it in the answers though.
